Los Colores

Topics Covered: Anti-bullying; Spanish-language

Age Range: Pre-K to 3rd grade
Synopsis: All was normal in the peaceful world of the crayons...until it wasn't. Meet the crayons: There's the popular primary colors Rojo, Azul, and Amarilla, shy Ana, smart and sensible Blanca, relaxed Verde, peppy Rosada, unpredictable Morado, and reserved Negro. What a bunch...and then there's Gris.

Gris is the new student in the school and he desperately wants to join the colorful cast of crayons in their daily activities...however, none of the others are too thrilled to have Gris around, except for Blanca, who honestly wants to give the poor guy a chance. However, Rojo, Azul, and Amarilla have different plans for our monochromatic protagonist. The 3 primary colors don't exactly go out of their way to be very welcoming. Instead, they resort to everything from name-calling to exclusion. It's going to take the power of friendship to turn this around!

Will the message get through to the bullies? Will things get better for Gris? Find out in...LOS COLORES!

Each of these characters give us a play-by-play of the customs, cuisine, and culture of their respective countries. Seeing what other countries have to offer makes Shenanigans want to show off the ways of his home, Shennaniland, but he gets a little to carried away in the process! Using his magical powers at every turn, the misguided Leprecolonel changes things about the other countries to fit his own image. It's up to April and the others to bring Shenanigans back down to Earth and help him to appreciate the lifestyles of other places, even if they are different than what he knows.

Topics Covered:

Age Range:
Synposis: Do you want even MORE amazing adventures around the world? Well, if you thought General Shenanigans' 1st world tour was something to behold, then get yourself ready for...GENERAL SHENANIGANS' WORLD TOUR 2!!! This time, everybody's favorite Lepricolonel and his trusty companion April set off for 4 more destinations, home to 4 more new friends. Nisha the Cow teaches them how to make curry in India, and Zanni fills them in on his aspirations to be an actor in Comedia del Arte in his homeland of Italy. But that's not all...they'll learn about the wildlife of Austrailia with Alkina the Koala, and in France, Alphonse and Ding will tell them about their dream to be in the Tour de France. Sounds amazing...what could possibly go wrong? Nothing...except for the fact that Shenanigans, as mischievous as ever, learned basically nothing from his and April's 1st adventure, and he'll continue to make some "adjustments" to the world around him. <Sigh> Looks like April and Co. will have to set things right again and help Shenanigans to give these countries the respect they deserve.

Get yourself ready for.....GENERAL SHENNANIGANS' WORLD TOUR 2!! (Wait, did I say that already?)

Hero Cake!

Topics Covered:

Age Range:
Synopsis: Meet Jay...He's your average, everyday baker down on his luck. He can't seem to get anybody to visit his bakery, fittingly known as the Blue Jay bakery. He and his bird friend Dwight work day and night to make their business the best it can possibly be...but alas, nothing seems to work.

Until one day, a huge misunderstanding causes this normal baker to not be so normal anymore. Rather, he is hailed as the amazing hero Blue Jay, a crime-fighting machine with super strength, flight, and other such nonsense. All the citizens fall for it except for Ellie the Flying Squirrel, an actual do-gooder who goes out of her way to help anybody in need. Ellie sets out to keep Jay's ego in check and clean up all his messes. But it's not going to be easy - in terms of big egos and mess-making, Jay really takes the cake (GET IT???).

But they're not alone on this journey. Meet Haggar, a misunderstood member of an unknown species who has trouble finding her place in this crazy game called life. Desperate for a lasting friendship, she manages to get herself lumped into the evil intentions of the most dastardly, malicious, and evil villain in existence...HORATIO JOSEPH VLADISTOK THE FOURTH!! But you can just call him Horatio. With the help of his new friend Haggar and his ever-so-nagging mother Delores, Horatio seeks to exact revenge on Jay for being such a liar. But things don't go so well for Horatio and his gang. When one of their evil plots goes beyond their control, even self-proclaimed hero Jay is helpless to put an end to it. He's going to have to get some help from Ellie and learn about what it means to actually be a hero and not an egomaniac.

Will Ellie be able to save the day? Will Jay come to terms with who he really is? Will Horatio ever clean up his dirty laundry?!? These questions are all answered in...HERO CAKE!!!

Newsroom

Topics Covered:

Age Range:
Synopsis: EMERGENCY NEWS FLASH!!

Something's gone horribly wrong on the set of the news network B.U.T. News (Yes, they actually call it that.). B.U.T. News is just like any normal news network, covering some intense stories, such as that of the playground war and the mysterious case of the E.P.F.D. (Elderly Person Flight Device). It's even got a traffic report and a weather station with the most reliable meteorologist of all time, Plant. With the reliable head anchor Jessie the Beaver and his goofy co-anchor Zanni, what could possibly go wrong??

But things quickly take a strange turn... In his quest to break out of the sidekick role and into the spotlight, Zanni tricks the worrisome but well-meaning  new guy Steve the Emu into thinking he's in charge of the show. Zanni's web of lies causes the whole channel to turn upside down - rumors about brain-eating extraterrestrials turn friend against friend, and poor Jessie is put out of a job. Soon enough, this once perfectly normal news channel is turned into a big mess of insanity and bad puns. What have we done to deserve such punishment?!?

Will everything turn out okay? Or will the entire network become yesterday's news?? Tune in to find out in...NEWSROOM!!
